Jacks Abby Tiramisu Framinghammer

Tiramisu Framinghammer is a distinctive Baltic porter from Jack's Abby that masterfully captures the essence of its namesake dessert. Hailing from Massachusetts, this dark beer boasts a robust 10.0% ABV, making it a hearty choice for fans of rich and complex brews. As you pour, expect a deep, velvety body that envelops your senses with inviting aromas of dark chocolate, espresso, and a hint of vanilla sweetness. This layered profile delivers a dessert-like experience, echoing the indulgent flavors of tiramisu. Upon tasting, the interplay of roasted malt and creamy tiramisu notes creates a harmonious balance, where chocolate and coffee tones dominate, complemented by subtle vanilla undertones. A moderate bitterness, with an IBU of 45, provides just enough contrast to the beer's inherent sweetness, resulting in a well-rounded finish that lingers pleasantly on the palate. Despite its decadence, the porter maintains a smooth drinkability that makes it a relaxing end to a meal. For serving, allow this beer to reach a temperature between 50°F and 55°F to fully appreciate its depth of flavors. While decanting is not necessary, pouring it into a tulip or snifter glass can enhance your tasting experience by concentrating the aromas. Pair Tiramisu Framinghammer with rich desserts like chocolate torte or coffee-flavored treats to amplify its dessert-like qualities, or enjoy it alongside savory dishes like roast meats to create an intriguing contrast. Though this beer shines brightly from the moment it's bottled, it can also benefit from some cellar time, allowing the flavors to meld and mature. Whether you choose to enjoy it now or let it age, Tiramisu Framinghammer promises a unique and memorable tasting experience.
