Harpoon The Holiday Mix

The Holiday Mix by Harpoon brings together a selection of seasonal beers designed to capture the spirit of winter festivities. Originating from the heart of Massachusetts, this collection offers an inviting 5.9% ABV that strikes a harmonious balance between robust flavor and smooth drinkability. With an IBU of 22, expect a mild bitterness that complements the rich, aromatic notes typical of holiday brews. Each beer within this mix is crafted to highlight distinct flavors and aromas, delivering experiences that range from spicy warmth to hints of caramel and toffee. When serving The Holiday Mix, aim for a temperature range of 45-50°F to ensure that each beer's unique profiles are fully expressed. This range will allow the subtle notes of spices and hops to unfold as the beer warms slightly in your glass. Speaking of glassware, a tulip or a snifter glass would be the most suitable choice, as their shape helps concentrate the aromas and enhances the complex layers of flavor. Pair these beers with dishes that showcase the season's bounty. Consider serving with roasted turkey, honey-glazed ham, or a hearty beef stew to complement the beers' warm, malty backbones. For a sweet counterpoint, gingerbread cookies or a spiced apple tart can highlight the festive notes present in this collection. Whether savoring each beer on its own or alongside a meal, The Holiday Mix by Harpoon promises to infuse your gatherings with the essence of the season.
