Oskar Blues Ten Fidy

Ten Fidy from Oskar Blues is a commanding presence in the world of imperial stouts, emerging from Colorado with its formidable 10.5% ABV and a bitterness rating of 65 IBU. This stout is a study in dark beer craftsmanship, boasting an opulent blend of roasted malts that deliver a rich tapestry of flavors. Expect deep notes of espresso and dark chocolate, layered with a hint of smokiness and an undercurrent of hoppy bitterness that balances its full-bodied character. For those looking to enjoy Ten Fidy at its best, serving it slightly chilled, between 50 to 55 degrees Fahrenheit, will allow its intricate flavors to unfurl. The dense, creamy head is best appreciated in a snifter glass, which not only accentuates the stout's aromatic profile but also enhances its luxurious mouthfeel. This is not a beer to rush; rather, it's one to savor slowly, allowing each sip to reveal its complexities. Pairing Ten Fidy with food is a rewarding endeavor. Its robust flavors complement hearty dishes such as slow-cooked beef stew or a rich mushroom risotto. For dessert, try it alongside a decadent chocolate fondant or a creamy blue cheese to match its intensity. Whether enjoyed alone as a contemplative drink or as a robust companion to a meal, Ten Fidy stands out as a bold testament to the art of stout brewing.
