Description

Soft King Bueno by Chronic Cellars is a compelling red blend hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of California. This wine showcases a robust 14.5% ABV, providing a full-bodied experience that is both bold and captivating. Expect a vibrant tapestry of rich fruit notes intertwined with subtle spicy undertones, offering a unique profile that sets it apart from the ordinary. The velvety texture of this blend is artfully balanced, resulting in a smooth, lingering finish that will delight both seasoned wine enthusiasts and newcomers alike. For those who appreciate the nuanced interplay of flavors, Soft King Bueno is best enjoyed at a serving temperature of 60-65°F. Allowing the wine to decant for about 30 minutes can enhance its aromatic profile, revealing deeper layers of fruit and spice. While a standard red wine glass is sufficient, a larger-bowled glass can emphasize its complex aromas and flavors, making each sip an experience to savor. This versatile red blend pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Consider matching it with hearty fare such as grilled lamb chops, rich beef stews, or a classic tomato-based pasta. Its fruit-forward character and hints of spice also complement savory vegetarian dishes, particularly those featuring roasted root vegetables or mushrooms. Soft King Bueno is an excellent choice for immediate enjoyment, with its lush flavors ready to impress now. However, if you prefer to let the wine evolve, it has the potential to develop further depth with a few more years of careful cellaring. Whether poured at a dinner gathering or enjoyed during a quiet evening of contemplation, this wine promises a rewarding experience.

Thought it would be bigger and heavier but came off a little softer than I figured. Still pretty solid, paired well with takeout pizza. Not sure Id call it bold but smooth for sure.
