Allagash Ski House

Ski House by Allagash offers a winter-inspired experience, capturing the essence of chilly evenings in a glass. This specialty pumpkin beer from Maine brings forward a rich tapestry of malt flavors harmonized with subtle spice notes, creating a comforting profile perfect for the colder months. With an ABV of 7.5 and a moderate bitterness at 30 IBU, its smooth finish is both warming and inviting, making it a go-to choice for those who appreciate seasonal brews. This ale finds its optimal expression when served at a temperature of 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing its complex flavors to shine. Pour it into a tulip glass, which helps concentrate the beer's aromatic nuances while emphasizing its warmth. The glass's shape will also enhance the visual appeal of its deep amber hue, inviting you to savor every aspect of this unique beer. Pair Ski House with hearty comfort foods like roasted butternut squash, spiced lamb stew, or a creamy pumpkin risotto to complement its malty backbone and spice accents. The beer's mellow bitterness also balances well with sweet treats such as pecan pie or gingerbread cookies, making it a versatile choice for dessert pairings. Whether you're nestled by the fireplace or sharing stories at a festive gathering, Ski House by Allagash captures the cozy spirit of winter in every sip.
