Teeling Single Malt

Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a distinguished expression from Dublin, crafted exclusively from 100% malted barley. With an alcohol by volume of 46%, it presents a robust yet nuanced profile that reflects the rich traditions of Irish whiskey-making. This single malt stands apart for its maturation process, which involves a thoughtful blend of cask influences. The whiskey is aged in an intriguing combination of five different wine casks: Sherry, Port, Madeira, White Burgundy, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This diverse cask selection imparts a symphony of flavors, from the subtle sweetness of Sherry to the rich fruitiness of Port, creating a multifaceted tasting experience. On the palate, Teeling Single Malt offers an intricate dance of flavors. Expect notes of ripe orchard fruits intermingled with hints of vanilla and a trace of elegant spice, which together weave a tapestry of taste that is both inviting and complex. The addition of non-chill filtration ensures that the whiskey retains its full-bodied character and natural oils, enhancing the depth and mouthfeel with each sip. The aromatic profile is equally captivating, with a bouquet that suggests floral notes and a whisper of oaky depth. When considering how to enjoy this whiskey, serving it neat in a Glencairn glass allows one to truly appreciate its aromatic richness and layered flavors. For those who prefer a slightly tempered intensity, a splash of water can open up its nose and smooth its palate, while serving on the rocks offers a cool, leisurely experience. In the realm of cocktails, Teeling Single Malt's complexity shines in a classic Old Fashioned, where its fruity and spicy elements complement the bitters and sugar, or in a refined Manhattan, where the whiskey's inherent sweetness plays beautifully against vermouth and a dash of bitters. For whiskey enthusiasts and novices alike, Teeling Single Malt Irish Whiskey provides a genuine taste of Ireland's distilling prowess, encapsulated in a bottle that promises both tradition and innovation with every pour.
