Diplomatico Seleccion

Diplomatico Seleccion is a distinguished Venezuelan rum, hailing from the renowned rum-producing region of Lara. This premium spirit is an artful blend of select rums, each matured in oak barrels to develop a rich and intricate character. With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 40%, it presents a harmonious balance of sweetness and spice, a testament to the careful craftsmanship that defines Diplomatico. On the palate, expect a tapestry of deep flavors, where notes of toffee and caramel mingle with subtle hints of nutmeg and vanilla. The oak aging imparts a smoothness that underlines the rum's complexity, making it a delightful sipper for those who appreciate the nuances of a well-aged spirit. Its medium body and refined finish invite contemplation, whether enjoyed neat or with a single ice cube in a classic rocks glass. While Diplomatico Seleccion's depth makes it an excellent choice for sipping, it also shines in a variety of classic cocktails. Its rich profile enhances the tropical flair of a Piña Colada, while its spiced undertones add a sophisticated twist to a Rum Old Fashioned. For those who favor a refreshing blend, this rum holds its ground in a Dark 'n' Stormy, where its balance of sweetness and spice complements the zing of ginger beer. Whether you choose to savor it on its own or as a versatile cocktail base, Diplomatico Seleccion is a celebration of Venezuelan rum-making tradition. Its layered complexity and smooth finish offer a distinctive drinking experience, perfect for both rum aficionados and newcomers alike.
