Overstone Sauvignon Blanc

Immerse yourself in the lively character of Overstone Sauvignon Blanc, a quintessential expression of Marlborough's renowned terroir. A burst of vibrant energy, this white wine offers an exhilarating blend of crisp acidity and aromatic intensity that is the hallmark of the region's Sauvignon Blancs. Expect an array of lively fruit flavors, typical of Marlborough, with notes of ripe citrus, passion fruit, and a hint of fresh-cut grass, culminating in a zesty, refreshing finish. To fully appreciate its dynamic profile, serve Overstone Sauvignon Blanc well-chilled, around 45°F (7°C), in a classic white wine glass to allow its aromas to flourish. While this wine does not require decanting, opening it just before serving will ensure its bright, fresh qualities are at their peak. It's a wine crafted for immediate enjoyment, embodying the vibrant spirit of its origin. Pair this Sauvignon Blanc with foods that complement its vivid flavors. It shines alongside fresh seafood, particularly oysters or grilled prawns, and balances beautifully with goat cheese, where the wine's acidity cuts through the creaminess. It also pairs well with dishes featuring green herbs, such as a Thai green curry or a salad with a tangy vinaigrette, highlighting the wine's refreshing and zesty character.
