Notch Salem Lager

Salem Lager by Notch offers a delightful interpretation of the classic Czech-style session lager. Crafted in the heart of Massachusetts, this beer is characterized by its inviting balance of malt and hops. With an ABV of 4.5% and an IBU of 30, it presents a gentle yet noticeable bitterness that complements its subtle malt sweetness, resulting in a refreshingly crisp finish. This makes it an ideal choice for those seeking a beer that is both flavorful and easy to drink. When it comes to serving Salem Lager, the optimal experience is achieved at a chilled temperature of around 45°F. This allows its nuanced flavors to shine without overwhelming the palate. Pour it into a traditional pilsner glass to accentuate its golden hue and preserve its effervescent head. The design of the glass also helps to concentrate the beer's aromas, enhancing the tasting experience. This versatile lager pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes. Its crisp profile makes it an excellent companion for light, fresh fare such as grilled fish, roasted chicken, or a classic Caesar salad. It also complements heartier foods like bratwurst or a savory cheese platter, where its balanced bitterness can cut through rich flavors and cleanse the palate. Whether you're enjoying a casual meal or a more elaborate spread, Salem Lager offers a harmonious match to your culinary choices.
