The result is a rum that stands out for its smooth finish and intricate flavors, making it a noteworthy addition to any liquor collection. As you explore Rum 44, expect a balanced interplay of subtle sweetness and nuanced spice, typical of rums made with demerara sugar. Its versatile nature allows it to shine whether enjoyed neat or as the foundation for an array of classic cocktails. Those who appreciate a good Daiquiri or Mojito will find Rum 44's flavor profile particularly rewarding, adding depth and character to these beloved drinks. Its adaptability also makes it a great candidate for a Rum Old Fashioned, where its complexity can be fully appreciated against the simplicity of bitters and sugar. Finished the bottle faster than I expected, mostly in mojitos over a couple weekends. Pretty good with fresh lime but wish it had just a bit more punch.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Sounds like Rum 44 made for some solid mojitos. If you want something with a little more kick next time, happy to suggest another Vermont rum. - Tom
