Kerkom Reuss

Reuss by KERKOM is a captivating Belgian-style beer hailing from the heart of Flemish Brabant, Belgium. This intriguing brew is a harmonious blend of lambic and ale, two distinctive styles that create a unique tasting experience. With an ABV of 6.0%, Reuss exemplifies the art of spontaneous fermentation, resulting in a beer with a pronounced, yet balanced, sour tang complemented by gentle malt sweetness. The result is a complex flavor profile that captivates the palate with its depth and character. When serving Reuss, it's essential to maintain its integrity by pouring it into a tulip glass. This glassware choice is specifically designed to enhance the beer's aromatic qualities, allowing you to fully appreciate its intricate interplay of flavors. To enjoy this beer at its best, serve it slightly chilled, around 45-50°F (7-10°C), which allows the nuanced flavors to emerge without dulling the vibrant sour notes. Reuss is a versatile companion at the dining table, pairing beautifully with a variety of dishes. Its sour and subtly sweet profile complements rich and creamy cheeses, such as Brie or Camembert, while also cutting through the richness of hearty meats like duck or pork. For a lighter option, consider serving it alongside seafood dishes, where its acidity can highlight the freshness of the fish. Whether paired with a meal or savored on its own, Reuss by KERKOM is a testament to the rich brewing traditions of Belgium, offering a distinctive experience for those who appreciate the complexity of Belgian-style beers.
