Ollitas Reposado

Ollitas Reposado Tequila hails from the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco, where the region's distinctive terroir imparts a unique character to the agave. This spirit exemplifies the craftsmanship of traditional Mexican distillation, resting in oak barrels to achieve its signature depth and complexity. With an ABV of 40%, Ollitas Reposado offers a harmonious balance that highlights the natural sweetness of the agave, complemented by a nuanced blend of vanilla and caramel notes from the oak aging process. On the palate, expect a smooth and inviting texture, where the warm, woody undertones are perfectly interwoven with the bright, peppery kick typical of highland tequilas. The aging process has softened the sharp edges often found in younger tequilas, offering instead a rounded, mellow finish that lingers pleasantly. Ollitas Reposado is well-suited for sipping neat in a caballito glass, where its full range of flavors can be fully appreciated. For those who prefer their tequila with a twist, try it over ice in a rocks glass, where the slight dilution can open up its aromatic profile. When it comes to cocktails, Ollitas Reposado is versatile yet distinctive enough to hold its own. It shines in a classic Margarita, where its rich undertones complement the tartness of lime and the sweetness of agave syrup. Alternatively, mix it into a Paloma for a refreshing blend of grapefruit and tequila, enhanced by its subtle oak influence. For a more straightforward concoction, a Ranch Water with a pinch of salt accentuates the tequila's natural minerality. Whether enjoyed neat or in a cocktail, this tequila’s refined character makes it a staple for any connoisseur's collection, delivering a genuine taste of Jalisco's highlands.
