Southern Tier Pumking Whiskey

Southern Tier's Pumking Whiskey is an inspired take on flavored whiskey, hailing from the heart of New York. Crafting a niche in the world of spirits, this 35% ABV whiskey offers a unique seasonal twist, seamlessly merging the comforting character of traditional whiskey with the inviting flavors of pumpkin pie. Expect a palate graced with a medley of autumnal spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, enveloped in a warm, smooth finish. The whiskey's inherent sweetness, accompanied by subtle notes of oak and vanilla, provides a balanced base that supports its festive profile. Serving Pumking Whiskey can be as versatile as its flavor profile. Enjoy it neat in a Glencairn glass to fully appreciate its complex aromatics; the glass’s shape enhances the pumpkin spice bouquet, allowing each note to reveal itself in succession. For a slightly chilled experience that accentuates the whiskey's creamy texture, consider serving it on the rocks; the gradual dilution opens up even deeper layers of flavor without overwhelming its signature pumpkin essence. When it comes to cocktails, Pumking Whiskey invites creativity. Its spiced character makes it an excellent choice for a seasonal twist on a classic Old Fashioned. Muddled with orange peel and a touch of bitters, it delivers a warm, invigorating cocktail. Alternatively, pair it with ginger ale for a refreshing highball that harmonizes spicy and sweet in perfect proportion. Whether you're savoring it alone or crafting an inventive cocktail, Southern Tier's Pumking Whiskey captures the spirit of autumn in every sip. Its distinctive flavor makes it a remarkable choice for those who appreciate whiskey with a twist, offering the familiarity of a traditional pour with a seasonal flair that stands out in any collection.
