Los Frailes Spain Organically Monastrell

Organically Monastrell by LOS FRAILES SPAIN is a testament to the rich winemaking heritage of Valencia, offering a pure expression of the Monastrell grape. This robust red wine, with its 14% ABV, highlights the character of organically cultivated vineyards where traditional methods meet sustainable practices. Expect a wine with deeply concentrated flavors, typical of the Monastrell grape, often featuring dark berry notes such as blackberry and plum, complemented by earthy undertones. The wine's body is substantial yet approachable, making it a versatile choice for a range of dining experiences. Its tannins are firm but well-integrated, providing a balanced structure that is elevated by a natural acidity that keeps each sip refreshing. While the complexity of this wine suggests it could evolve with a bit of cellaring, it is crafted to be enjoyed now, offering immediate gratification with its vibrant flavors and smooth finish. Serving Organically Monastrell at the right temperature, around 16-18°C (61-64°F), allows its full profile to unfold, enhancing your tasting experience. Decanting for about 30 minutes prior to serving can also help in softening its tannins and opening up its bouquet. The ideal glassware for this wine would be a broad-bowled glass, which helps to concentrate its aromas and highlight its depth. When it comes to food pairings, this Monastrell stands beautifully alongside hearty dishes. Consider serving it with grilled meats, especially lamb or beef, or with rich, tomato-based stews. It also pairs well with aged cheeses, such as Manchego, which echo the wine's inherent richness. This wine, with its authentic expression of Valencia's terroir, is a compelling choice for those who appreciate the art of organic winemaking.
