Zero Gravity Oktoberfest Märzen Lager is a 5.7% ABV amber lager from Vermont, made in the style of traditional German Oktoberfest beers. Märzen is a malt-forward lager style, and this one has a toasty malt backbone with notes of fresh bread and light caramel. With an IBU of 22 the bitterness is mild, and the delicate hops give a clean, crisp finish. The body is medium, so it works as an autumn beer to share at a gathering. Split a sixer with my brother. He was all about it, I was fine with one and then wanted something hoppier. Solid for a fall beer though.
