Buttonwoods Oktoberfest

Buttonwoods Oktoberfest captures the essence of autumn with a nod to the traditional Munich Märzen lagers. This Rhode Island-brewed specialty beer, with its 5.8% ABV, is crafted to warm the soul as the leaves turn. Expect a delightful balance of rich, toasty malt characteristics that deliver a subtle sweetness, complemented by a smooth and clean finish. The moderate 22 IBU ensures just enough bitterness to enhance the complexity without overwhelming the palate. When serving this classic Oktoberfest, it's best to enjoy it at a temperature of around 45-50°F. Such careful attention to temperature allows the intricate malt flavors to unfold fully. For the best experience, serve it in a classic dimpled mug or a traditional stein, which not only enhances the visual appeal but also allows the beer's aromas to be appreciated with each sip. Pair Buttonwoods Oktoberfest with hearty, comforting dishes that echo its autumnal character. It complements roasted meats such as pork or chicken, and traditional German sausages like bratwurst find a perfect companion in this brew. Soft pretzels with a hint of mustard or a robust cheese platter will also harmonize beautifully with its malt-forward profile, making it a versatile choice for autumn gatherings.
