Tucher Nurnberger Helles is a German lager from Franconia in the traditional helles style, bottled at 5.2% ABV. It is lightly golden and full bodied, with a subtle spiciness, malt sweetness and a crisp finish, and part of it is matured in oak barrels. Stronger than I expected for a helles. Finished my second before I felt it sneak up on me. Good for weekends when you want something heavier than an American lager.
