Description
Moscato D'Asti by Cerreto Vignaioli is a sparkling gem from Italy's renowned Piedmont region, renowned for its aromatic charm and delightful sweetness. Crafted from the Moscato Bianco grape, this wine presents a gentle effervescence that dances across the palate, delivering a symphony of floral notes intertwined with luscious fruit flavors. Expect the fragrant bouquet to reveal hints of orange blossom and honeysuckle, accompanied by the juicy allure of ripe peaches and apricots. This Piedmontese classic is characterized by its light body and refreshing acidity, which balance its inherent sweetness, making it a versatile choice for a variety of culinary pairings. It pairs beautifully with desserts like fruit tarts and creamy panna cotta, yet its bright profile also complements spicy Asian dishes and tangy cheeses, creating a harmonious contrast that elevates the dining experience. For optimal enjoyment, serve Moscato D'Asti well-chilled, around 45°F (7°C), in a standard white wine glass to capture its vibrant aromas and lively bubbles. This wine benefits from immediate consumption, allowing its fresh, fruit-forward character to shine without the need for decanting. While it doesn't require aging, it's an excellent choice for those who appreciate a youthful and vivacious wine that embodies the joyous spirit of its region. Whether marking a special moment or simply savoring a sunny afternoon, Moscato D'Asti by Cerreto Vignaioli is a delightful companion, promising to enliven your senses with every sip.

Grabbed this for my sister since she likes sweeter wines more than I do. She finished the bottle herself so I guess that says it all.

Picked this up again for brunch and everybody loved it. Will definitely keep buying the Cerreto Moscato for weekends.

Glad to hear it was a hit at brunch. If you ever want something just a bit drier, ask me about Gavi next time. - Tom

Sweet and bubbly, easy to drink. Good with fresh fruit, but a touch sugary for my taste.
