Mighty Squirrel Mocha Stout

Mighty Squirrel's Mocha Stout is a dark beer that commands attention with its distinctive combination of coffee and chocolate flavors. Hailing from Massachusetts, this stout is an ode to rich, roasted malt profiles, offering a depth that beckons to those who savor complex brews. With an ABV of 6.5%, it delivers a satisfying balance of strength and flavor, while the 40 IBU ensures a moderate bitterness that complements its sweet undertones rather than overpowering them. The mocha notes in this stout make it an ideal partner for indulgent desserts such as tiramisu or a dense chocolate cake, where its coffee elements can mirror the dessert's richness. For a savory pairing, consider serving it alongside smoked meats or a hearty beef stew, where its robust flavors can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with bold culinary companions. To truly appreciate the depth of flavors this stout has to offer, it should be served at a slightly warmer temperature, around 50-55°F (10-13°C), which allows the chocolate and coffee notes to fully develop. Pour it into a nonic pint glass to enhance the aroma and showcase its deep, dark hue, complemented by a creamy head. This glassware helps maintain the beer's carbonation and holds the flavors beautifully as you savor each sip. Whether enjoyed in solitude or shared with friends who appreciate a well-crafted brew, the Mocha Stout is a testament to Mighty Squirrel's knack for creating memorable, full-bodied beers.
