Description
Merciless is a Specialty IPA from The Veil, brewed in Virginia at 8.5% ABV. It is a bold, hop-forward beer with a balanced bitterness, a malt backbone and a complex but approachable character. Serve it between 45 and 50°F in a tulip glass to bring out the hop aroma. It pairs well with grilled meats such as peppered steak or barbecued ribs, and with spicy dishes like buffalo wings or Thai curry. CBC Liquors in Westford carries The Veil for pickup, delivery or shipping as well as in store.
Customer reviews
Not as smooth as some DIPAs, but the hop punch is real. Warm finish but it works after dinner. Would buy again if I'm in a big IPA mood.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
That warm finish is classic for The Veil's stronger IPAs. If you want something even smoother, let me know and I'll point out a few other cans to try next time.
