Description
Magic Rain is a New England IPA from Mighty Squirrel in Massachusetts, 6.5% ABV, sold at CBC Liquors in Westford. It pours hazy and fruit-forward, with tropical notes of ripe mango, juicy pineapple and zesty citrus, and its 40 IBU gives a subtle bitterness that balances the sweetness. Serve it slightly chilled between 45 and 50°F in a tulip glass. It pairs well with a spicy Thai curry or grilled salmon with mango salsa. You can pick it up in Westford or have it delivered.
Customer reviews
Better than some NEIPAs I paid way more for lately. Solid value and still juicy enough for my taste.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Good to hear you liked the price point on Magic Rain. If you want another juicy one, Fiddlehead IPA is worth a look too. - Dan
Expected it to be sweeter but the hop bite cuts through, which worked better with pizza than I thought. Would get again.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Sometimes the hops just hit right for a slice. Thanks for giving Magic Rain a try.
