Equilibrium Lucid Dream Wave

Lucid Dream Wave by Equilibrium is a New England IPA that embodies the vibrant and bold spirit of New York craft brewing. Its 8.5% ABV makes this beer as robust as it is refreshing, offering the characteristic hazy appearance and juicy mouthfeel that define this style. Without any discernible bitterness, the absence of IBUs highlights the softness of hop flavors, delivering a smooth, fruit-forward profile that melds tropical fruits like mango and pineapple with subtle citrus notes. The result is a well-balanced sweetness that lingers deliciously on the palate. For the optimal tasting experience, serve Lucid Dream Wave slightly chilled at around 45-50°F. This temperature enhances the beer's aroma and flavor profile, allowing its complex layers to unfold gradually. Pour it into a tulip glass, which is ideal for showcasing the beer's aromas while retaining its frothy head, allowing you to fully appreciate the aromatic nuances of hops and fruit that are hallmarks of the New England IPA style. When it comes to food pairings, Lucid Dream Wave is a versatile companion. Its fruit-forward and juicy character pairs wonderfully with spicy dishes, complementing the heat with its sweetness. Consider matching it with spicy Thai or Indian cuisine, where the beer's flavor profile can enrich the overall dining experience. Additionally, its balanced sweetness can enhance roasted or grilled meats, providing a refreshing counterpoint to rich, savory flavors. Lucid Dream Wave is a testament to Equilibrium's commitment to crafting beer that harmonizes science with the art of brewing. With its bold yet balanced profile, it’s an exemplary expression of what a New England IPA can be, inviting both seasoned craft beer enthusiasts and newcomers to explore the intricate pleasures of this carefully crafted brew.
