Xicala Joven Mezcal

XICALA's Joven Mezcal from the heart of Oaxaca is a showcase of mezcal's traditional roots, celebrated for its vibrant and authentic character. This unaged spirit is crafted with meticulous attention, allowing the natural essence of the agave to shine through. Expect a bold yet smooth profile, where the inherent sweetness of the agave mingles harmoniously with its signature smoky undertones. Earthy nuances provide depth, crafting a well-rounded experience that mezcal enthusiasts will appreciate. Joven Mezcal is best enjoyed neat in a traditional caballito glass, allowing its complex flavors to fully express themselves. For those who appreciate a chilled sip, serving it over a single large ice cube in a rocks glass can subtly mellow its robust nature. Enhance its natural character by pairing it with a slice of fresh orange, sprinkled with a touch of sal de gusano, to elevate its earthy notes and complement the agave's sweetness. In cocktails, this mezcal proves to be exceptionally versatile. It brings a refreshing twist to classic concoctions, shining in a well-crafted Margarita or adding a smoky flair to a Paloma. For a lighter option, consider a Ranch Water where its distinct personality can still take center stage. Whatever the choice, XICALA's Joven Mezcal provides a spirited experience, embodying the vibrant traditions of Oaxaca with every sip.
