Description
High & Dry by Stowe Cider is an expression of Vermont's rich apple heritage, crafted into a Super Dry, brut-like cider that captures the essence of the region's orchards. With an ABV of 6.5%, this cider is a testament to the art of cider making, utilizing 100% locally sourced apples to deliver an authentic taste of Vermont in every sip. The cider's profile is decidedly apple-forward, offering a crisp, clean, and refreshing experience that stands out for its dryness, reminiscent of a classic brut Champagne. The delicate balance of flavors in High & Dry makes it an ideal companion for a variety of foods. Its crisp acidity pairs wonderfully with creamy cheeses like Brie or Camembert, enhancing their richness while cutting through their decadent textures. For a heartier option, consider serving it alongside roasted chicken or pork dishes where the cider's dryness complements the savory flavors and its apple nuances echo traditional pairings. To fully appreciate the nuances of High & Dry, serve it chilled, ideally between 45-50°F. This temperature range helps maintain the cider’s refreshing quality while allowing its subtle apple notes to shine. Pour it into a flute or tulip glass to concentrate the aromas and elevate the tasting experience, as these glass shapes can help showcase the cider’s effervescent character. Whether enjoyed on its own or as a versatile pairing, High & Dry by Stowe Cider offers a distinctive taste journey driven by the purity and quality of Vermont apples. Its super dry style provides a sophisticated twist for cider enthusiasts seeking something beyond the ordinary, with a refreshing finish that invites another sip.

Four pack barely made it through our backyard firepit night. Really crisp and dry, not as sweet as most ciders but a little thin for my taste.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Firepit nights call for a cider just like High & Dry. If you want a bit more body next time, Citizen Cider's Unified Press might fit the bill.
