Description
Piattelli High Altitude Torrontés is an aromatic white wine from the Cafayate Valley in Salta, Argentina, at 13.5% ABV. Grown at altitude on the edge of the Andes, the Torrontés Riojano grape gives honeysuckle, orange blossom and lavender aromas, with crisp citrus and tropical fruit, a mineral texture and a subtle spicy finish. Serve it chilled, around 45-50°F, in a medium-sized tulip glass. CBC Liquors in Westford offers this Torrontés in store and by pickup, delivery or shipping.
Customer reviews
Was not expecting much for twelve bucks but honestly this is better than a lot of sauv blancs I tried at twice the price.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Torrontes is easy to miss next to all the sauvignon blanc out there, glad you found a winner in this one.
grilled some shrimp and poured this Piattelli Torrontes. Dry, a little floral but not overpowering. Might buy it again for summer nights.
