Short Path Hibiscus Rum

Hibiscus Rum by SHORT PATH offers a distinct and captivating twist on traditional rum, originating from the innovative distilleries of Massachusetts. With a vibrant hue that hints at the floral infusion within, this rum presents an intriguing combination of rich, floral hibiscus notes and the classic warmth of a well-crafted rum. At 40% ABV, it embodies a harmonious balance, maintaining the robust character expected from quality rum while introducing a refreshing, botanical complexity. This rum is ideally suited for both casual sipping and as a dynamic component in a variety of cocktails. Its floral and slightly tart profile makes it an unexpected yet delightful choice for a Daiquiri or a Mojito, where the hibiscus can shine alongside lime and mint. For a tropical escape, incorporate it into a Piña Colada to add an aromatic twist to the coconut and pineapple base. The vivid color and unique flavor profile also allow it to stand out in a simple Rum Old Fashioned, where it can be savored over a large ice cube, allowing the floral notes to evolve as the ice gently melts. Serve this versatile spirit in a highball or rocks glass, depending on your cocktail of choice. It pairs beautifully with light, citrus-based appetizers or spicy Caribbean dishes, complementing and enhancing their flavors without overpowering them. The innovation of SHORT PATH’s Hibiscus Rum invites experimentation, encouraging both seasoned rum enthusiasts and adventurous newcomers to explore its multifaceted character.
