Chairman Reserve Forgotten Cask

Forgotten Cask Rum from Chairman's Reserve is an evocative snapshot of Saint Lucia's rum tradition, bringing forth a distinctive character shaped by time. This dark rum's story begins in the serene distillery surroundings of Castries, where oak barrels were inadvertently left to mature during renovations, resulting in a serendipitously aged spirit. With an ABV of 40%, this rum delivers a complex taste profile that reflects its unique aging process. Expect a rich tapestry of flavors, with a harmonious blend of caramel, vanilla, and subtle oak notes, underscored by hints of island spices. This full-bodied rum is designed to be savored slowly, making it an excellent sipper for those who appreciate the depth of mature spirits. Its intricate layers unfold on the palate, offering a lingering finish that invites contemplation and appreciation. While Forgotten Cask shines as a standalone spirit, it transitions effortlessly into the world of cocktails, enhancing classics with its depth. It adds a new dimension to a Rum Old Fashioned or brings a sophisticated twist to a Dark 'n' Stormy. Serve it in a rocks glass to fully appreciate its bouquet when sipping neat, or in a highball glass if crafting a cocktail. Whether enjoyed as a solo indulgence or a creative cocktail component, this rum stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and heritage of Saint Lucian rum-making.
