Mighty Squirrel Festbier

Mighty Squirrel's Festbier, hailing from Massachusetts, embodies the spirit of Oktoberfest with its German-style Märzen roots. At 5.8% ABV and an IBU of 22, this specialty beer marries a robust malt backbone with a subdued bitterness, resulting in a harmonious and approachable brew. As you pour, expect a rich amber hue that hints at the toasted malt notes waiting to be discovered. The aroma carries whispers of freshly baked bread, subtly sweet, inviting you to experience its smooth and refreshing finish. For the optimal experience, serve this Festbier at a temperature between 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This range allows its nuanced flavors to fully open up, enhancing both the malt's warmth and the crispness of the hops. A traditional stein or a nonic pint glass will serve you well, accommodating the rich foam head and allowing the aromas to develop as you drink. Pair this brew with hearty, traditional German fare like bratwurst, pretzels, or schnitzel, where its malt-forward profile complements the savory and slightly salty flavors beautifully. Alternatively, try it alongside roasted chicken or a rustic cheese platter to appreciate its versatility. Mighty Squirrel's Festbier is crafted for those who relish the authentic taste of Oktoberfest, offering a seasonal celebration in each sip.
