Description
Diamante Añejo by CIELO is a testament to the art of tequila-making, emerging from the renowned Jalisco region of Mexico with an ABV of 40.0%. This añejo tequila is meticulously crafted, offering a layered complexity that sets it apart in the crowded world of agave spirits. Aged in oak barrels, Diamante Añejo develops nuances that evoke notes of caramel, vanilla, and a hint of spice, all harmonizing beautifully with the inherent sweetness of the blue agave. When it comes to tasting, this expression is best appreciated neat in a caballito or a rocks glass. The aging process lends it a certain smoothness and depth that can be savored without any adornments. However, if you're inclined to explore its versatility in cocktails, Diamante Añejo can add a sophisticated twist to traditional recipes. It excels in an Old Fashioned-style cocktail, where its richness complements the bitters and sugar, or in a refined Margarita that balances its complexity with fresh lime and orange liqueur. For those who appreciate the finer details, letting this añejo breathe slightly before sipping allows the intricate aromas to fully reveal themselves. Chilling is not recommended, as it might mask its delicate flavors. If pairing with food, consider dishes that match its robust profile, such as grilled meats or spicy Mexican fare, which can both complement and enhance the tequila's character. Diamante Añejo by CIELO is not just a drink; it's an exploration of the craftsmanship behind premium tequila, offering a unique experience with every pour.

Was looking for something bolder but Diamante Anejo is much smoother than I thought it would be. Sipped neat after tacos al pastor, very easy drinking but just a touch sweeter than I usually like.

Good call sipping Diamante Anejo neat. If you want something less sweet next time, check out the CIELO reposado on our shelf.

Friend swore by this one and brought it over for poker night. Super smooth, no burn at all. Ended up pouring a second round and everyone wanted to know where he found it. Will pick up a bottle next time.
