Description
Dale's Pale Ale by Oskar Blues is a trailblazer in the craft beer world, offering a robust hop character that's undeniably bold, balanced by a satisfying malty backbone. This pale ale, originating from Colorado, is a seminal member of the easy-drinking beer category, yet it stands out with its unique flavor profile. With an ABV of 6.5% and an IBU of 65, Dale's Pale Ale showcases a lively interplay between hoppy bitterness and a smooth, rich malt base, creating a refreshing yet substantive beer experience. The vibrant blend of European malts and American hops gives Dale's Pale Ale its distinctive taste, with citrus and floral notes typical of the style. This beer pairs exceptionally well with a variety of foods, from grilled meats to spicy dishes, enhancing the flavors without overwhelming them. Its complexity also complements milder fare like roasted vegetables or creamy cheeses, adding a refreshing contrast. For the best experience, serve Dale's Pale Ale at a temperature between 45-50°F (7-10°C) to fully appreciate its nuanced flavors. The use of a nonic pint glass will allow the aromas to develop, enhancing the tasting experience with every sip. Whether enjoyed at a casual gathering or a more refined setting, Dale's Pale Ale offers a well-rounded, approachable taste that craft beer enthusiasts will relish.

Not as piney as Sierra Nevada but still hits that hoppy spot. Little bit more malt in this one, easy drinking for 6.5%.

Can barely remember how fast the sixer went down at the cookout. Cold cans of Dale's and burgers off the grill, just works every time.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Dale's is tough to keep in the fridge long, especially when the grill's going. Next time try it with spicy sausage too.
