Description
Cooperative Rum by Bully Boy is a testament to the art of small-batch distillation, crafted with care in the heart of Massachusetts. This rum presents a finely tuned balance of sweetness and spice, characteristic of its New England origins. Its 40% ABV profile speaks to a blend that is both approachable and intriguing, providing a layered tasting experience for both enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of rum. The nuanced flavors of Cooperative Rum make it a highly adaptable spirit. While it can stand on its own as a satisfying sipper, its true versatility shines when used in cocktails. The subtle sweetness and hint of spice make it an excellent choice for a classic Daiquiri, where its complexity can elevate the simple blend of lime and sugar. Its robustness also complements the fresh mint and lime in a Mojito, turning a casual drink into a standout refreshment. For those who appreciate a more spirited cocktail, Cooperative Rum holds its own in a Rum Old Fashioned. The balance of flavors allows it to blend seamlessly with bitters and a touch of sugar, creating a drink that is both familiar and intriguing. When serving this rum, consider a simple rocks glass for sipping neat or a highball for mixed drinks, as these choices will enhance the aromatic experience. Whether enjoyed alone or in a cocktail, Cooperative Rum by Bully Boy is a testament to the dynamic potential of regional American rums.

Expected just another sweet rum but this is actually really smooth and not too sugary. Ended up sipping it neat instead of making cocktails.

Tried this at a friend's place in Cambridge, liked it enough to grab a bottle here. Still stands up over ice but think I prefer it as a mixer, honestly.

Glad you came back for the Cooperative Rum. If you like it as a mixer, give it a go in a daiquiri or with ginger beer next time.
