Rumsons Coffee Rum

RUMSONS Coffee Rum from New England is a distinctive creation that melds the deep, decadent notes of coffee with the traditional warmth of rum. At 35% ABV, this intriguing spirit offers a harmonious balance between the familiar boldness of a well-brewed coffee and the smooth character of a quality rum, making it an appealing choice for those who appreciate the complexity of both worlds. In the glass, expect captivating aromas mingling roasted coffee beans and subtle undertones of caramel and vanilla, typical for styles like this. These scents give way to a palate that reveals layers of dark chocolate, a hint of toffee, and a gentle spice, culminating in a finish that's both rich and velvety. Its smooth profile makes it an excellent sipper for those who enjoy their spirits neat, perhaps over a single cube of ice to slightly mellow the intensity. This Coffee Rum shines in cocktails as well. It serves as a unique twist in a Rum Old Fashioned, where it brings an unexpected depth to the classic recipe. For those inclined to create something a bit more adventurous, consider it as a base for a Tiki-inspired Espresso Martini, where its coffee notes can enhance the cocktail's overall richness. Serving in a rocks glass or a coupe will complement the experience, enhancing the aromatic and visual appeal of the drink. While it pairs beautifully with desserts—think chocolate mousse or a coffee-infused tiramisu—RUMSONS Coffee Rum stands equally well on its own, offering a versatile addition to any home bar that invites exploration and creativity. Whether you're a seasoned rum aficionado or a coffee devotee, this blend promises a flavorful exploration of both realms.
