Description
Coal Miners Water is a stout from Moon Hill, brewed in Massachusetts at 6.5% ABV and 40 IBU. It pours deep and opaque, with roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate notes and a moderate bitterness. Serve it at around 50°F in a tulip glass to bring out the aroma. It pairs with beef stew, mushroom risotto or a sharp blue cheese. Uncle Mike dropped this off for my birthday and I get why he likes it so much now. Super easy drinking, finished the four pack in one night.
Honestly was thinking it would be heavier. Smooth for a stout, had it with chili and the two worked well together. Might try again but wanted more roast.
