Description
Citrus Sue is a blonde ale from Toppling Goliath, brewed in Iowa, USA, with a bright lemon and orange character. It sits in the easy-drinking beer aisle, with a smooth, subtly sweet malt base and 6.3% ABV. Serve it chilled, between 45 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit, in a tulip glass to bring out the citrus aroma. It pairs with grilled shrimp or salmon, and its refreshing character balances spicy food. CBC Liquors in Westford sells Toppling Goliath Citrus Sue in store, for pickup and for delivery.
Customer reviews
Burger night with friends and a few cans of Citrus Sue, perfect combo. Real easy to drink, just enough zing to cut through all the beef. Will be buying again.
Went for this instead of my usual Gumballhead and it was definitely brighter and heavier on the citrus. Might switch between the two depending on mood, both pretty good.
First had Citrus Sue at my cousin's place last month, had to hunt it down after. Even better on the second go. Just a touch more sweet than I usually like but still really solid.
