Citizens Cider Cherry Crush

Cherry Crush by Citizens Cider offers a distinctive twist on traditional ciders, highlighting the vibrant interplay between tart cherries and crisp apples. Originating in Vermont, this cider boasts an inviting 5.2% ABV, making it an approachable option for those who appreciate a refreshing and fruit-forward beverage. The cherries impart a bright, tangy flavor that dances harmoniously with the natural sweetness of the apples, creating a balanced profile that's both lively and quenches your thirst. Serving Cherry Crush at its best involves a bit of care. To fully appreciate its nuanced flavors, it's recommended to serve this cider chilled, ideally between 45 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. This temperature range helps retain its refreshing character while allowing the fruit notes to shine through. Opt for a tulip glass, which will enhance the aromatic experience, capturing the fragrant bouquet of cherries and apples as you sip. When it comes to pairing, Cherry Crush shines alongside a variety of dishes. Its bright acidity and fruitiness complement rich, creamy cheeses, cutting through their fat with a refreshing zing. It also pairs beautifully with grilled poultry or pork, where the cider's tart cherry element can play off savory flavors. For a vegetarian option, consider serving it with a spinach and goat cheese salad, where its fruity complexity can elevate the freshness of the greens. As an all-season favorite, Cherry Crush provides a versatile option for those seeking a different angle on conventional cider experiences. Whether enjoyed on its own or as a companion to your favorite meal, this cider's refreshing and flavorful profile is sure to leave a lasting impression.
