Exhibit A Briefcase Porter

Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company’s Briefcase Porter is a testament to the art of crafting a classic dark beer with a touch of modern flair. Brewed in Massachusetts, this porter is steeped in tradition while embracing a playful curiosity that embodies the spirit of exploration. With an ABV of 5.4%, it strikes a balance between sessionability and rich, full-bodied character, making it an inviting choice for both seasoned porter fans and those new to the style. Pouring deep mahogany with a creamy tan head, Briefcase Porter presents with the expected robust malt profile inherent to this style. Anticipate notes of roasted coffee and bittersweet chocolate on the nose, followed by a palate layered with hints of caramel and a delicate smokiness. Despite its dark, complex flavors, this porter remains smooth and approachable, with a gentle bitterness that rounds out its malt sweetness without overwhelming the senses. Ideal for serving at a temperature slightly cooler than room temperature, around 50-55°F, this beer's flavors truly shine when given a moment to breathe. Though decanting may not be necessary, a brief rest in the glass lets its aromas blossom. Serve in a nonic pint glass to best appreciate its aromatic depth and creamy texture. Food pairings with Briefcase Porter span a range of comforting dishes. Its rich flavor profile complements hearty stews and roasted meats beautifully, while its chocolatey undertones can also pair delightfully with desserts like tiramisu or chocolate cake. This is a drink-now beer, crafted to be enjoyed at its freshest, yet its steady profile ensures it remains a reliable companion for any meal where robust flavors are called for.
