Founders Breakfast Stout

Founders Breakfast Stout stands as a hallmark of rich complexity within the stout category, offering a decadent experience for dark beer enthusiasts. Hailing from Michigan, this imperial stout delivers a robust 8.3% ABV and a substantial IBU of 60, wrapped in layers of flavor that reveal themselves with each sip. The brew is intricately crafted with an abundance of flaked oats, which contribute to its velvety texture, creating a lush mouthfeel that sets the stage for the flavors to unfold. The interplay of bitter and imported chocolates adds a profound depth to this stout, providing a luscious chocolate undertone that is both indulgent and sophisticated. The inclusion of two distinct types of coffee infuses the stout with a bold aroma and a nuanced bitterness, balancing the sweetness from the malt. This dual coffee presence enhances the beer’s complexity, offering a delightful interplay of roasted and rich flavors that linger long after each sip. To truly savor Founders Breakfast Stout, serve it at a slightly warmer temperature, around 50-55°F, allowing the intricate flavors to express themselves fully. A tulip glass is recommended for this stout, as its shape enhances the aroma while concentrating the beer’s robust flavors. This beer pairs exquisitely with hearty dishes such as braised short ribs or a rich chocolate dessert, complementing and elevating the dining experience through its bold and decadent profile. Whether enjoyed on its own or as a companion to a carefully curated meal, Founders Breakfast Stout is a testament to the artistry of brewing, offering depth and character that appeal to those seeking a truly immersive stout experience.
