Burley Oak Brackish

Brackish by Burley Oak is a dark beer that invites stout enthusiasts to explore its rich, complex layers. Born in the small town of Berlin, Maryland, this stout embodies the spirit of its coastal origins with an ABV of 6.5% and an IBU of 32. Expect a harmonious balance where roasted malt flavors meet a gentle hop bitterness, creating a smooth and satisfying sip. The brewery's dedication to quality shines through in every glass, as they skillfully blend contemporary and traditional brewing techniques. Serve Brackish at a slightly cooler temperature of around 50-55°F to fully appreciate its depth. Pouring it into a classic nonic pint glass will enhance its aromas and allow room for the head to develop, releasing the enticing notes of coffee and chocolate typical of a stout. The combination of these flavors makes Brackish an excellent companion to hearty dishes. Consider pairing it with a juicy steak or a rich beef stew to complement the beer's robust profile. For those with a sweet tooth, Brackish is a delightful match for desserts, especially those with chocolate or caramel. Try it alongside a decadent chocolate cake or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful contrast. Whether enjoying it with food or savoring it solo, this stout from Burley Oak promises a rewarding experience grounded in craftsmanship and local character.
