Wachusett Blueberry

Wachusett Blueberry is a delightful fruit beer crafted in Massachusetts, offering a refreshing twist with its infusion of ripe blueberries. Light on the palate and brimming with fruity notes, this beer is a nod to the classic American fruit beer style, featuring an approachable 4.5% ABV and a gentle bitterness with an IBU of 10. Expect the fresh aroma of blueberries to greet you, balancing beautifully with the subtle malt backbone that supports the vibrant berry flavors without overpowering them. This beer is best served chilled, typically around 45-50°F, to enhance its crisp and refreshing character while allowing the blueberry essence to shine. For the optimal tasting experience, consider pouring it into a pint glass or a tulip glass, which will help concentrate the beer's aroma and showcase its light, effervescent appearance. Wachusett Blueberry pairs wonderfully with an array of culinary delights. Its fruity profile complements creamy cheeses like brie or camembert, while the subtle sweetness can also contrast beautifully with spicy dishes such as Thai curry or blackened fish. For a simpler pairing, try it with a fresh garden salad or grilled chicken, where the beer's refreshing qualities can balance and elevate the meal. Enjoy this local favorite as a refreshing companion to a sunny afternoon or as a lively addition to your next gathering.
