DeKuyper Blue Curacao is a blue orange liqueur from Schiedam in the Netherlands, bottled at 24% ABV. It has a sweet, zesty orange-peel flavor and a bright blue color, which is why it is used as a cocktail modifier in drinks such as the Blue Lagoon, made with vodka and lemonade, and the Blue Hawaiian, made with rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream. You can also serve it neat to taste its sweet citrus character, over ice for a chilled glass, or with a splash of soda water. Movie night cocktails with my wife, she loved the color more than the taste, but it worked great in a Blue Hawaiian.
Color pops in drinks and the orange flavor is solid. Honestly, way cheaper than most blue liqueurs I have seen. Makes a mean Blue Lagoon.
