Don Julio Blanco is an unaged blanco tequila from Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from highland agave, steam-cooked for 72 hours, then fermented and double-distilled in stainless steel pot stills. It tastes bright and crisp, with citrus zest, lime, a hint of black pepper and a clean finish. Sip it neat to taste the agave, traditionally from a caballito glass, or pour it over ice in a rocks glass.
