Description
Birds of a Feather is a New England IPA from Lamplighter in Massachusetts, 6.8% ABV, available from CBC Liquors in Westford. It is hazy and juicy, with tropical fruit notes of citrus and stone fruit over a subtle malt backbone, and 40 IBU gives a smooth but clear hop presence. Serve it between 45 and 50°F in a tulip glass to bring out the aroma. It pairs well with spicy and savory food such as grilled shrimp, Thai curry and chicken tacos. You can pick it up in Westford or have it delivered.
Customer reviews
Good one for a humid Saturday. Hit the spot after mowing, though I think it would be even better colder. Solid choice from Lamplighter.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad you liked Birds of a Feather after yard work. Next hot day, toss one in the freezer for ten before opening. - Tom
