Description
Be Hoppy is a 6.5% ABV IPA from Wormtown, brewed in Massachusetts and found in the specialty IPA section at CBC Liquors in Westford. A hoppy beer is one led by hop bitterness and aroma, and this one delivers it at 70 IBU, with citrus and pine aromas over a smooth malt backbone. Serve it at about 45 to 50°F in a tulip glass to bring out the aroma. It pairs well with spicy Thai dishes and buffalo chicken. You can buy Wormtown Be Hoppy in store, or get it by pickup, delivery or shipping.
Customer reviews
Bought Be Hoppy for my brother who usually sticks to hazy IPAs. He loved it way more than I did so now its his go-to when hes over.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad your brother enjoyed the Be Hoppy! If he ever wants something even more hazy, let us know and we can suggest a few local cans.
Pretty smooth for an IPA, more drinkable than I expected. Maybe just a little bitter aftertaste but nothing major.
Cracked one open with pizza, right out of the can. Still hoppy but not overpowering, decent IPA for a Saturday night.
