Revolution Anti Hero

Anti Hero stands as a beacon for IPA aficionados, a flagship creation by Revolution Brewing hailing from Illinois. This specialty IPA is a celebration of bold hop character, weaving a vibrant tapestry of citrus and pine notes. With an ABV of 6.7% and an IBU of 65, it strikes a harmonious balance between flavorful intensity and measured bitterness, presenting a beer that is both assertive and remarkably drinkable. The sensory journey begins with the invigorating aroma of fresh-cut pine and zesty citrus, inviting you to delve deeper into its complex profile. On the palate, expect a robust hop presence that dances with bright citrus overtones, underscored by earthy pine undertones that lend depth to each sip. While its bitterness is pronounced, it is skillfully balanced, ensuring that the malt backbone supports rather than overshadows the hops. Anti Hero is best served at a temperature of around 45-50°F, which allows its intricate flavors to fully develop. It shines in a classic IPA glass, where the tulip shape can capture its aromatic bouquet and direct it to your senses. When it comes to food pairings, this IPA is versatile yet shines when matched with dishes that can stand up to its intensity. Consider pairing it with spicy foods such as buffalo wings or Thai curries, where its bitterness can temper the heat, or with aged cheddar, which complements its hop-forward profile. With its bold flavors and balanced bitterness, Anti Hero is not just a beer, but a testament to the skill of Revolution Brewing in crafting a quintessential IPA that remains a staple among enthusiasts.
