Description

Aviation American Gin emerges from Oregon as a distinctive spirit that redefines the gin experience with its unique blend of botanicals. Departing from the traditional juniper-forward profile, this gin takes a more contemporary approach, seamlessly balancing juniper with hints of lavender, cardamom, and sarsaparilla. The result is an exceptionally smooth gin that carries a floral and spicy complexity, complemented by subtle citrus undertones. With an ABV of 42%, it offers the perfect strength to stand out in any cocktail without overpowering the palate. This gin's versatility shines in a range of cocktails, making it a favorite choice for both mixologists and home enthusiasts. Its balanced botanical profile pairs beautifully with the classic Gin & Tonic, where a wedge of lime or a sprig of fresh mint can accentuate its floral and citrus nuances. For those inclined towards more adventurous concoctions, the Negroni reveals its spicy depth, while a classic Martini highlights its smooth, clean finish — best served in a chilled glass with a twist of lemon peel to enhance its aromatic qualities. When serving Aviation American Gin, consider using a balloon glass or a highball glass filled with plenty of ice to keep the drink refreshingly cool, allowing the gin's flavors to fully develop and linger. The addition of a citrus garnish or a herb like rosemary can further elevate the sensory experience, providing a fragrant prelude to the first sip. Perfect for those who appreciate a modern twist on traditional flavors, this gin proves to be an exceptional choice for crafting memorable cocktails that delight with every taste.

Pretty smooth for a gin, mixed well with Fever Tree tonic. Just a touch hot on its own but goes down easy in a G&T.

Thanks for the feedback. If you want something softer to sip, try The Botanist next time.
