Longlive Alleyways & Avenues

Alleyways & Avenues is a New England IPA crafted by LONGLIVE, a Rhode Island brewery known for its inventive approach to IPAs, sours, and stouts. This hazy beer boasts an inviting, juicy profile that is typical of the style, presenting a tropical medley of flavors and aromas that are expected in a premium New England IPA. At 7% ABV and with an intriguing lack of noticeable bitterness (0 IBU), this beer offers a smooth and approachable drinking experience, making it a standout choice for those who appreciate a softer, fruit-forward hop character. When serving Alleyways & Avenues, aim for a temperature of around 45°F (7°C) to enhance its aromatic complexity and allow the fruity notes to shine. The ideal glassware would be a tulip or a stemmed glass, which helps to concentrate the beer's aromas and allows for a fuller appreciation of its hazy appearance. As you pour, look for a dense, creamy head that captures the essence of New England IPAs. Pairing this beer with food can be a delightful endeavor. Its juicy profile complements a variety of dishes, from spicy chicken wings that bring out its tropical undertones to creamy pasta dishes that balance its subtle hop presence. For a lighter pairing, consider a tangy goat cheese or a crisp salad with citrus vinaigrette to echo the beer's inherent freshness. Whether enjoyed with a meal or savored on its own, Alleyways & Avenues promises a flavorful exploration of the New England IPA style.
