Codigo 1530 Reposado

Código 1530 Reposado Tequila is a distinguished expression hailing from Jalisco, Mexico, offering aficionados a taste that bridges the raw purity of Blanco with the depth afforded by careful barrel aging. Rested in French oak barrels, this 40% ABV tequila captures the essence of its agave roots, while embracing the nuanced flavors that come from its repose. The aging process imbues it with a subtle oakiness, harmonizing beautifully with the natural sweetness of the agave to produce a smooth, complex profile that is both inviting and intriguing. On the palate, Código 1530 Reposado reveals a symphony of flavors that includes gentle notes of vanilla, a hint of caramel, and a whisper of spice, all underscored by the fresh, vegetal character typical of high-quality agave spirits. The oak's influence is evident but never overpowering, allowing the authentic essence of the agave to shine through. The spirit's rich texture and balanced finish make it an ideal candidate for sipping neat, where its full range of flavors can be appreciated in a simple rocks glass or traditional caballito. While best enjoyed neat to savor its intricate profile, Código 1530 Reposado also lends itself beautifully to classic tequila cocktails. Its refined taste elevates a Margarita, adding depth without overshadowing the bright citrus notes. It also holds its own in a Paloma, where its smoothness complements the tartness of grapefruit. For those seeking simplicity, a Ranch Water with this reposado brings out its refreshing qualities, especially when served over ice with a wedge of lime. A versatile and sophisticated addition to any collection, Código 1530 Reposado is crafted for those who appreciate the art of tequila making and the delicate balance of flavors that only time and expert care can achieve.
