CASAMIGOSMezcal is an agave spirit from Mexico, often smoky, and CBC Liquors in Westford carries joven, reposado and ancestral mezcals from makers such as Ilegal, Montelobos, El Jolgorio, Bozal, Del Maguey and 400 Conejos. Joven is bottled young, while reposado is rested in wood. Mezcal is commonly sipped neat or used in cocktails, and people choose by how smoky they want it. You can buy mezcal in store in Westford or choose pickup or delivery.

You can find mezcal at CBC Liquors, 142 Littleton Rd, Westford, MA 01886. Our mezcal page lists bottles such as Joven, Reposado, Ancestral and Ensamble styles from brands including Ilegal, El Jolgorio, Montelobos, Del Maguey and Bozal.
Joven mezcal is bottled young, with little or no aging, so it shows the agave and smoke most directly. Reposado is rested in wood for a period, which usually softens the spirit and adds some oak character. We carry both styles.
Ancestral mezcal is made by traditional methods, with the agave mashed by hand or with a wooden mallet and distilled in clay pots. Ensamble means the mezcal is made from more than one type of agave. Both styles are on our mezcal page.
