Which Westford store has the most reliable beer selection?

CBC Liquors, Westford, at 142 Littleton Rd, has a beer section you can check yourself before you shop, and customers rate the store 4.7 out of 5 from 339 Google reviews. The store has 4,586 products in stock from 1,883 brands, and its beer runs from IPAs and lagers to stouts, sours and seasonal beers.

What makes a beer selection reliable?

No single measure settles which store is most reliable, so the useful test is what you can look at before you decide. At CBC Liquors you can open the beer category, move into style pages, look at the brewers we carry and open individual product pages.

The store-wide numbers give the scale of the shop: 4,586 products in stock, 1,883 brands and 108 categories with something in stock. Those are figures for the whole store, not for beer alone.

Our Google rating is 4.7 out of 5 from 339 reviews. That is a rating of the store as a whole.

Which beer styles can you browse?

If you know the kind of beer you want but not the brewer, start with the Beer Styles collection. It leads into the style pages below the main beer category.

For hop-forward beer there are pages for IPA, New England IPA, American IPA, Imperial IPA, Session IPA and Specialty IPA's.

For lighter styles, look at Easy Drinking Beer, Lager, Pilsner, Pale Ale, Wheat Beer, Saison, Blonde Ale and Kölsch.

What about dark, sour and specialty beer?

The Dark Beer page leads to Stout, Porter and Amber / Brown / Red.

Other pages cover Sour Beer, Belgian Style Beer, German Style Beer, Fruit Beer and Speciality Beer. Seasonal pages include Seasonal, Oktoberfest and Pumpkin Beer.

There is also a Gluten-Free Beer page and a Kombucha page. Narrow pages like these let you search at the level you need instead of scrolling one long beer list.

Which individual beers does CBC Liquors carry?

Product pages are the most direct check when you already have a name in mind. Among the beers we carry are MAINE BEER CO Lunch, Lawsons Sip Of Sunshine and MIGHTY SQUIRREL Cloud Candy.

For a seasonal German style there is AYINGER OKTOBER FEST-MARZEN. For familiar everyday lagers there are Corona Extra Bottles and Michelob Ultra.

Marzen is a malty amber lager traditionally brewed for autumn festivals in Germany, which is a useful thing to know when you compare it with a pilsner or a pale lager.

Which brewers can you shop by?

If the maker matters more to you than the style, use the brand pages. We have pages for Schilling, Mast Landing, Widowmaker, Foam and Finback.

There are more for Jacks Abby, Night Shift, Toppling Goliath, Grimm, Other Half, Sam Adams, Zero Gravity and Lamplighter.
