How does online liquor delivery work with CBC Liquors?

You browse the website, build your order, and choose delivery or pickup at checkout. The liquor category is the usual place to start for spirits, with wine, beer, seltzers, cider and mixers in their own sections of the site.

The store also offers shipping, covered separately on the shipping policy page. Delivery and pickup are the two options most people use when they live or work nearby.

If you want to see what a whole evening might need, the party planner page is set up for that.

When can I get a delivery?

Delivery hours are Sunday 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, and Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Those windows run a little shorter than the shop's opening hours, so a late Friday order is best placed with time to spare. If you are planning around a dinner or a gathering, order earlier in the day rather than close to the end of the window.

Delivery is for adults of legal drinking age, so plan on having someone 21 or older available to receive the order.

Which towns does CBC Liquors deliver to?

The shop is on Littleton Rd in Westford and serves the towns around it. There are delivery pages for Chelmsford, Carlisle, Littleton, Acton, Tyngsborough, Lowell, Billerica, Boxborough and Dunstable.

There are also pages for Groton, Concord and Ayer. The full list is on the delivery areas page, so check there for your address before you order.

What spirits can I order online?

The liquor section is broad. You can browse vodka, rum, gin, tequila, whiskey, bourbon, scotch and brandy and cognac, plus liqueurs and mezcal.

For everyday bottles, you will find names such as Tito's Vodka, New Amsterdam Vodka and Ketel One Vodka. In rum there is Captain Morgan Spiced Rum, and in flavored spirits Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and 99 Watermelons Schnapps.

The shop lists 4,588 products from 1,883 brands in stock, so there is plenty to search through when you know what you want.

Is pickup faster than delivery?

Pickup is a good choice when you are already driving past Littleton Rd or want to grab the order on your own schedule. You place the order online, then collect it at the store at 142 Littleton Rd, Westford.

Pickup hours match the store hours: Sunday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. That gives you a later window than delivery, which ends half an hour to an hour earlier each day.

Bring a valid ID for age verification, as you would for any purchase in the store.

How do I pick what to order for a party or dinner?

Start with what you are making. A single vodka or whiskey bottle can cover a lot of cocktails, and a bottle of liqueur or vermouth adds range for not much extra effort. Pick up mixers in the same order so you are not making a second trip.

If not everyone drinks spirits, add wine, beer, seltzers or ready-to-drink options, and consider the non-alcoholic section for guests who are not drinking.

For bigger events, the kegs page takes keg and special order requests.

What if I would rather talk to someone before ordering?

You can walk into the shop on Littleton Rd during opening hours and ask for help choosing. Opening hours are Sunday 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Friday and Saturday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

The shop holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating from 339 Google reviews. If you want a read on wine in particular, the article on wine choices in Westford explains how the shop helps.

Gift cards are also available on the gift cards page if you are buying for someone else and would rather let them choose.
